Vector Conversion

How?

Raster to vector conversion (Vectorization / Vectorisation) of Crests/Logos/Paintings. This vectorization service is offered to deliver output of the highest quality. To Vectorise (Vectorize) the image we use Flexi-Sign although the output can be of any vector format. There are many raster to vector converting programs, our artist has mastered the art to convert vector files manually by drawing (using Flexi-Sign) every line in order to restrain file size and quality.

What?

More often than not, a piece of letterhead or a business card is offered as “art” for a logo. Rarely is it a digital file. If it is a digital file, it is usually a raster image (.tiff, .jpeg, .bmp, etc . . .) the best choice for logos and other line art is an EPS file (Encapsulated Post Script). EPS files are typically generated from vector based programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, or CorelDraw. EPS files are fully scalable and are not susceptible to distortion. Also, spot colors are easily specified in vector program’s which comes in handy if your project is not going to be produced in 4-color process.

Advantages of Vector Art

Resolution Independent:
A vector converted image has no jaggedness, no loss in detail and can be printed at any resolution.
Size Independent:
The image can be scaled up or down without any loss in quality.
Can be Updated or Partially Changed:
A library can be maintained and can be upgraded or partially changed.
Can be archived and stored for later use:
The archive of the artwork can be used for Literature, Manuals, Brochures, Newspapers, Service bulletins and host of areas.

Installation

Sign Resources of NC Inc. professional staff can assist you with the installation of your newly purchased signage or vehicle graphics. We install anywhere the installation takes us – up ladders, scaling walls, on our backs, or dangling from a pole, we get the job done safely, and accurately.

In the office
If you need us to set up the banners, posters or signs at your office, let us know when we can come by and then show us where they belong and just like that, your new signs will be securely up and ready for the world to see.

Things we need to know?

What type of surface will we be installing the sign on example: Dry Wall, Cinder Block Wall, Concrete Wall, Glass Window etc.

On the vehicle

We have a huge garage – it’s cool. It where we do all our vehicle graphics installations. From wraps to vinyl lettering and logos, we can install your graphics quickly and accurately, sometimes as you wait!

Vehicle Surface Preparation:

It is vital the surface of your vehicle is clean and free of wax and dirt.  All vehicles will be wiped down with a cleaning solvent to remove any old adhesive, dirt or wax from your vehicle.  Please have your vehicle washed prior top bringing it in for application.  We can clean your vehicle for an additional charge if you don’t want to be hassled.

In the store
No two stores or store installations are alike, but one thing is – how we handle the job. We show up at the store, evaluate the premises and get to work. With the right tools and techniques, we ensure a professional installation. Sign Resources of NC Inc. will do a site survey during the measurement phase of the project and assess any special installation equipment required to complete your project.

On the grounds
Say you have a banner that needs to be strung between two poles? Hmmm… no problem. Just let us know where you want the sign to go, and barring any site restrictions, we’ll get it up and make it look good.

Getting Started:

Contact us to set-up a customer visit or stop by our showroom, workroom and office.  One of our staff members would be happy to visit your business to gain a better understanding of your business requirements and discuss your vision for signage.

Sign Resources will visit your business and take digital pictures of the building or area for the sign, take measurements and assess the site for your sign application.  Sign Resources of NC Inc. will help you understand the different sign ordinances established in your community.  Sign Resources will guide you through the permit requirements and fees in order to provide a virtually hassle free sign purchasing experience.

We would like to get you started on your sign project by having you explore the numerous possibilities so that we may be your “Sign Resource!”  The following are some suggestions that may help your decision making process. • If you have questions regarding your idea or questions on sign terminology please E-mail us or call us so we can help.  Write down your concerns regarding size, materials, etc., our professional staff can help you with your questions.  Providing a photo of a sign or display you like, can help us see exactly what you are looking for.
• An estimate is relatively easy to obtain.  While all of our products are custom, many are comprised of standard materials and processes.  You can obtain a quote over the phone or visit our showroom and we can provide an estimate of approx cost and delivery of your project within days.
• Placing an order is easy.  We provide an estimate for your review.  Upon approval of the signed estimate and returned to us with the applicable artwork, logos etc.  Your artwork will be kept on file for future reference and your convenience.  All work is custom and therefore, we require a 50% deposit before any work can begin and the balance is due upon delivery.
• Delivery and installation are provided to make sure you have your signs and displays when you need them.  Most of our projects can be ready within 3 – 7 days the more complex projects such as permanent outdoor signs, may require concrete footings, electrical installation, require site inspections, site surveys, permit and/or a review of zoning ordinances.

• Excellent customer service, providing a high quality product at an affordable price is our goal for each and every customer.  We understand that your project is the image you wish to present to the world.  Let us help you with your Sign Solutions.

TERMS, Standard Terms:

Sign Resources of NC, Inc. collects the State of North Carolina sales Tax on all Sales.  This will include service or installation work that we perform.  If you are a resellers or other tax exempt agency we must have a completed resale card (Form TC-721) on file before we can legitimately not charge you sales tax.  Sales and other taxes will be added to all invoices as required under state and federal laws.

The terms for all orders are 50% deposit required with balance due at time of pick-up, delivery or installation.  Sign Resources of NC, Inc. does not offer open accounts or extended terms for any client.  We accept: Cash, Check, Credit Card. NO REFUNDS!  The final price of a sign or completed sign project my exceed the original quote.  2.5% interest per month will be added to all invoice balances that have not been paid on time.  A $30.00 service charge will be added to dishonored checks.  Sign Resources of NC Inc. retains ownership of any sign (s) not paid for in full at time of pick-up, delivery or installation.

Proof Approval

A signed final proof of your completed design is required before we will begin production of your project.

A limited warranty of one (1) year is included with each sign.  Defective materials replacement does not include any design, labor, installation, or tax charges.  Acts of God or circumstances beyond the control of Sign Resources are not covered under any warranty.  All materials supplied by the customer will not be covered under this warranty.  Installations made by any person of the company other than Sign Resources of NC Inc. shall void any stated or implied materials warranty.

Payment of any amount of our invoice for any work in progress, completed signs, installation or other work is considered acceptance of all terms and conditions and as evidence of final approval of the design and workmanship.

Permits and authorizations as required by State, Federal or local ordinances are the responsibility of the sign purchaser, landlord or lease holder of the property to which the sign is installed or attached.  Sign Resources of NC Inc.
